2006 Juno award winner Vic Florencia will be mixing Mark's first single. Vic is best known for his work with Nelly Furtado, Amanda Marshall, Hilary Duff & Tom Cochrane.

Mark shot a video for Own This Life on October 30th. It was Directed & Produced by Susan Fuda from Valkyrie Films. Cinematographer & Director of Photography Francois Dutil did some awesome camera work! Francois shot the latest Sam Roberts video Bridge To Nowhere.

Mark's song Empty will be featured in the closing credits of a movie called Last Hour, a psychological thriller starring Rapper DMX, Michael Madsen, David Carradine and Paul Sorvino.

Sam Roberts record "Chemical City" & is the drummer for Lesley Lane.

Mark will be performing Friday June 9th for the 2nd annual BRILAR FOUNDATION GALA for
asthma research with all proceeds going to the MCH asthma research center. This years
event hosted by Mix 96's morning man Cat Spencer. More details in the shows section.

Mark auditioned for "Rock Star II" in Toronto last week & got a call back for a 2nd audition.
He made it in the top 30 out of over 1100 auditions! The band anounced will be called "Super
Nova". Members include Tommy Lee (Moltley Crue), Jason Newsteed (Metallica) & Gilby Clark
(Guns N' Roses).

Pleased to announce that Mark's song "Own This Life", has advanced onto the second round of
judging for the 2005 (ISC) International Songwriting Competition. They received almost 15,000
entries this year from over 80 countries.The 2005 winners will be announced in March, 2006.

Mark performed at (CMW) Canadian Music Week for the National Songwriters Festival in Toronto March 5th. Other performances that night included International songwriters; Carolyn Dawn Johnson, Mark Hudson, Andy Kim, Gary Baker, Gary Burr, & Ron Sexsmith.
February 2005
Mark & his brother Anthony won the Canadian Radio Star National Songwriting Competition on Mix 96 in Montreal. The contest attracted thousands of entries from songwriters across Canada and was endorsed this year by Fefe Dobson.
